Manchester United has purchased four players this transfer window and while there are many speculations, it would appear that as of now no body is leaving the club. That does not mean that there are no interest from other clubs for United players.
According to the Mirror, Stoke City is keen to take Phil Jones on loan from Manchester United. The 24-year-old English defender joined United in 2011 from Blackburn Rovers and was highly rated by Sir Alex Ferguson. After showing initial promise Jones’ United career has seen several injuries which seemed to have stalled his progress.
However, the player is currently fit and is yet to feature in this season’s games. Jose Mourinho had said that every player will get a chance in September but is Jones willing to wait? Mark Hughes, a former United player, and the manager of Stoke may offer him an immediate chance at Stoke City.
