Transfer Shock To Arsenal – Highly Rated Target Promises To Stay At Current Club

Share

Arsenal have been facing criticism from fans and pundits in the recent times due to lack of limited activity in the transfer market and now looks the like Gunners are about to face more heat.

The north London club has been linked with a move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette for the majority of the summer transfer window but the French striker has recently landed a fatal blow to the pursuit. After the 2-0 win over Caen Lacazette said that he is looking forward to the season in Ligue 1 and is planning to stay put at the club.

Arsenal desperately needs a striker and a defender this summer to be a serious title contender. While Arsene Wenger has bemoaned the high asking price from the other clubs for their players, the unavailability of the striker is a whole new thing altogether. Earlier Lacazette had informed that he will be willing to switch if an irresistible offer comes through but now the striker has changed his stance.
