Three Alexis Sanchez Replacements Who Arsenal Can Target

Arsene Wegner has been a busy man in the last few weeks as he is looking to complete deals for some of the finest players in world football this summer. The Gunners have already completed the signing of Alexandre Lacazette to add to their attack and are now looking at other possible options to beef up their armoury.

They are set to lose their last season’s top goal scorer Alexis Sanchez this summer but are looking high and dry for proper replacements before the start of the new season. The Chilean has been the best player for the club for two years now and will be hard to replace. But here are three possible options Arsenal should look at this summer.

Thomas Lemar (AS Monaco)

The Gunners have already made a couple of bids for the French winger which were rejected but reports suggest that Arsene Wenger is readying yet another bid, which could effectively seal this move. At just 21, Lemar has established himself as one of the most exciting wingers in world football and though he may not be able to replace Sanchez next season, he is probably one of the best options Arsenal can turn to, to replace their cheeky Chilean this summer.

Douglas Costa (Bayern Munich)

The Brazilian winger is easily one of the best players in his position and there are very few players who can replace Sanchez more adequately than the 26-year old from Bayer Munich. With pace to burn and skills to mesmerise, Costa is a perfect package but is close to a move to Serie A giants Juventus, who have already met Bayern’s valuation. So Arsenal should be quick if they are to sign Costa this summer and if they can, they will not feel the loss of Sanchez for too long.

Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli)

A transfer target for Arsenal from the past, Insigne has yet again played out a productive season in Italy and like every other season has been linked with a move to the Premier League. Arsenal, however, are not one of the teams linked with a move for the 26-year old this time around. The versatile Italian winger is getting better by the year and Wenger might be tempted to go for a more established star in Insigne to replace Sanchez at the club this summer.

Who do you think Arsene Wenger should sign to replace the outgoing Chilean star for the next season?
