Arsenal’s €72m Transfer Bid For Attacking Duo Is More Like A Nightmare

Share

While different clubs are deciding on the players they want to bring in or let go from their squads, media too has let speculations run wild on who the clubs may be interested in.

While Italian media has been known to spread transfer rumors it has started a new set of rumors. Recent reports state that Arsenal is ready to bid €72m for Mauro Icardi and Marcelo Brozovic. The speculation was first initiated by The Daily star reporting that Arsenal is ready with a bid of £53.5m for the duo.

The Daily Star report may have been pushed forward by the Super Agent Vincenzo Morabito’s comment stating Wenger’s liking for the duo, where he further states that the Manager is keen on signing them, however the agent’s comment do not lead to any sort of bids being made for the players.

Morabito told Corriere dello Sport: “Yes, (he is interested in them) especially the second (Brozovic).

“Maybe something will happen because Wenger feels that this may be the right year to win the Premier League.”

The latest update is that, Italian newspaper Gazetta Dello Sport reports there has been no such developments, the coverage of the news has been a nightmare so far and as far as the transfers are concerned the players are staying with their respective clubs.
