Chelsea Transfer News

Chelsea direly needs to add a striker in their squad due to injuries. Manager Guus Hiddink has a list of strikers as his transfer targets which includes Antonie Griezmann, Alex Pato, Jackson Martinez, Saido Berahino, Emmanuel Adebayor and Jamie Vardy. However, the transfer of any of these players depends upon whether Loic Remy stays in or leaves from the Stamford Bridge, following a “one out- one in” policy. – Reports Independent.

Free agent Emmanuel Adebayor is the Blues’ back up if they are not able to sign any of their main targets. However, latest reports from Express suggest that, Chelsea are closing in on an £8 million deal for Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato after agreeing terms on a three-year contract.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban has affected Chelsea’s transfer plans as Eden Hazard will be staying at Chelsea for the unforeseeable future.
“The two clubs were found to have violated several provisions concerning the international transfer and first registration of minor players, as well as other relevant provisions with regard to the registration and participation of certain players in competitions.” –  Reports Independent.
This means that Madrid’s interest in replacing Ronaldo with Eden Hazard has been stalled for the time being.
Further Chelsea also needs to find a replacement for the interim manager Guus Hiddink and the potential candidate to fill the position will be Atletico’s Diego Simeone.
