A great defensive display by the Frenchman as he kept Lukaku quiet for most of the game and also got what proved to be the vital second goal.

The Spaniard had another solid game but didn’t quite get forward as much as he likes. He dealt well with Deulofeu’s and kept him at bay most of the times.
Francis Coquelin, 8
After getting booked in the first half for what was a slip more than a foul, he showed genuine intelligence and maturity to play out the rest of the game knowing one slip could prove fatal. Used the ball very well.
Santi Cazorla, 8.5
Cazorla had an excellent game and dictated the play. He was superb with his creativity and his assist for the second goal. His defensive contributions were also vital at times.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 5.5
He can be blamed partially for the Everton goal as he decided to shoot the ball rather than playing it to Bellerin. Had a tough game but looked better in the second half.
Mesut Ozil, 9
Majestic at times, his cross for Giroud’s opener was perfect and his overall contribution was immense. He hit the post, created five chances for his teammates and is enjoying himself on the pitch at the moment.

Looked tired still he gave everything against Everton. Looked off-colour in the match.
