Arsenal, Everton Stars Feature In The Most Improved Players Of The Premier League List

Share

The Premier League action is on full swing and there have been exhilarating moments of pure magic and ecstasy. With the January transfer window now open, Premier League clubs now are looking to add depth to their current stock. Managers have already had the time to inculcate their philosophies and instilling beliefs to reach realistic beliefs come at the end of the campaign. We here at Soccersouls provide you four of the most improved players in the Premier League this campaign.

Kieran Gibbs:

A brilliant presence at the left back slot for Arsenal, Kieran Gibbs has established himself in the Gunners squad. keeping Nacho Monreal out is a testament of his quality and with Arsenal looking for their first Premier League in about eight years, Gibbs remains an integral part in Arsene Wengers concrete plans. He barges forward at will, is extremely pacy and has a tremendous defensive tracking ability. Inexperienced though, Gibbs’ experience is sometimes found wanting. Certainly makes his way into our list as one of the most improved players in the Premier League this campaign.

Gareth Barry:

Owing to Javi Garcia’s presence in the Manchester City squad, Gareth Barry had to move to loanee’s heaven Everton. Barry has been a constant presence in the Blues squad and under Roberto Martinez his game has flourished and seen the best light of the day. Talking of his screamer against Norwich this Saturday, the English International can still dream to wear his national colours next year in Brazil.  City’s loss has been Everton’s gain, and the former Aston Villa man has enjoyed a renaissance season ahead of the showcase event in Sambaland next year. Barry’s style fits into Martinez’s strange attacking system as it allows the left back to barge forward without losing their shape while attacking.

Ron Vlaar:

Aston Villa’s insignificant campaign of late has seen one true performer, Ron Vlaar. Even though the Dutchman has had a injury plagued campaign, Paul Lambert’s men have been assured at the back when he is playing. Lambert would be wishing that Vlaar can shrug off his injuries to restore Villa’s reputation and help them for a top ten finish come next May.

Adam Lallana:

Southampton’s campaign so far has been nothing short of a dream. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have shook their challengers, defied the odds and now find themselves fighting for a Europa League spot. Adam Lallana certainly plays an integral part of the Saints squad. The English International has dazzling dynamism, is brilliant on the ball and has the potential to make it big in the international stage. With major cubs after Lallana in the January Transfer window, the Saints will find it very hard to keep him in the summer if a big club certainly comes calling. Who knows he might also be playing in the World Cup for the Three Lions!
