Arsenal regained their Premiership lead thanks to two Quickfire goals from Wilshere and Giroud helped them cruise to a 2-0 lead at halftime. But Aston Villa came out inspired in the second half and pulled a goal back, however a resilient Arsenal side managed to hold on to their slender lead despite looking sloppy at times.
