3 Players Who Could Sign For Manchester United: Dortmund Fans Look Away

Share

With Champions League football guaranteed next season, Louis Van Gaal can prepare for next season by dipping into the transfer market. The Dutchman would have to work really hard to ensure that his team grow and learn from their failings this season, especially in terms of their attacking players and also their defence which has looked rather average at times. United will provide Van Gall with a sizeable war chest to pick the players he wants and with a new Adidas deal coming through next season, that war chest could be bigger than what people might have expected. With great power comes great responsibility and we look at 3 players who could be moving to Manchester United next season.

Karim Benzema

Real Madrid might be willing to sell the 27-year-old who has scored a bagful of goals for them, he has however lived under the shadow of Ronaldo for far too long and with Manchester United looking to get another striker in, the Frenchman could be the right option for them. Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie haven’t really fired this season and one of those two will leave the club at the end of the season, paving the way for the Real Madrid star to join forces with Wayne Rooney up top.

2. Ilkay Gundogan

Gundogan is Gundagone as he refused to sign a contract extension with Dortmund which means that he would leave the club on a free at the end of next season, which means that if Dortmund do want to make a quick buck they have to try and sell him at the end of this season. United have needed a midfielder who can control the game and pass the ball about and Gundogan is the perfect option or a perfect Carrick replacement even. He is only 24 and can certainly become one of the best midfielders in the Premier League once United or some other team sign him.

3. Bruno Martins Indi

The young Dutch defender impressed in the World Cup in Brazil under Van Gaal and while he was touted to make a move to the Premier League, he opted to play in Portugal for FC Porto. It might not have seemed as a smart move back then, but now it seems that the defender is willing to move to another club. Indi would be an ideal defender for United, he is a no-nonsense player and is young enough to learn and improve his ability, he wouldn’t cost a ton either for Manchester United and could be the defender who plays for them for years.
