Chelsea sacked manager Jose Mourinho in December and currently interim manager Guus Hiddink is wearing the Manager’s shoe in the Blues. With the club trying to find a permanent manager there have been many names linked to the same.
Argentine manager Jorge Sampaoli too has been linked with the Blues as one of the candidates the club is considering to bring into the Stamford Bridge. However in an interview with Ovacion Digital, Sampaoli denied the claims.
The manager has been out of club since he left the Chilean National Team, and this has been taken by many as an indication that the manager will be moving into the premier league and mainly Chelsea. However the Argentine manager tags the same as just speculation by media.
He said,
“They are all speculations. There’s nothing concrete. Everybody is competing today, everybody with a manager. I wouldn’t talk about something concrete while someone has a manager in charge. There is plenty of media speculation, but they really don’t match the reality.”
Sampaoli, however does not rule out a move to the Premier League, but it has to be the club that is going to reach the top and compromising with a fourth or fifth position in the title.
