According to reports from English news outlet the Birmingham Mail, Wolves are keen on a move for FC Copenhagen star Robert Skov. The 23- year-old had a phenomenal season with the Danish side and Wolves have to win the race for the young winger.
The former Championship side had a wonderful return to the Premier League, paving the way forward for any team in the near future. Not only did Wolves finish in the final European spot but they also did it with style, panache and a few big scalps to their names.
This includes Arsenal, Manchester City, West Ham, Chelsea, Tottenham and even Leicester City. Those are not small sides and it shows exactly what Wolverhampton Wanderers have achieved over the course of their season.
But it hasn’t been rosy going throughout the season and the club have had a few issues on their way to a seventh-place finish. Their first one will be depth in key areas, with manager Nuno Espirito Santo often using the same team.
This will have to change, as the club will have almost 50 games next term and it cannot be successfully conquered without depth. Their second issue will be a new wide-man with both Helder Costa and Adama Traore struggling to find their footing.
The latter was a club record signing at the start of the season and that should cause a few problems. However, it’s exactly where someone like Robert Skov steps in.
A right-winger by trade, Skov is fast and agile enough to beat his opponents and his confidence on the ball makes him a dangerous player.
Furthermore, his left-foot is an absolute rocket and one that he is not afraid of using often. He often shoots and quite accurately from outside the box, and even nets his fair share from dead-balls.
It’s why the 23-year-old, as mentioned above, had a phenomenal season. He finished with 32 goals and 10 assists in just 48 appearances.
That’s the same total as what Raul Jimenez, Ruben Neves and Diogo Jota scored combined together. It’s an incredible stat and combined with a few other traits, it will see him make an impact.

Robert Skov would be a bargain buy, especially in and around his reported fee of £5million, which is why the move makes a lot of sense for Wolves. Given the impact he had in the Danish league, there is every chance that Skov will repeat that at the Molineux.
