Why Arsenal’s Most Improved Player Will Not Leave Even If Bayern Comes Calling

Share

After ending a barren run of 8 years without silverware, Aaron Ramsey has certainly etched his name in golden words amongst the Arsenal faithful. The Welshman’ extra time goal against Hull City in the final of the FA Cup at Wembley last weekend has certainly lifted the monkey off the back of Arsene Wenger’s side. The French Professor who looked jubilant after the Cup win claimed that the Gunners need to build on the triumph and believes that this will invigorate a bright future for the Emirates outfit.

However, there are reports  in the British Media that German Champions Bayern Munich are set to table a whopping offer in the summer to lure Ramsey to the Allianz Arena.  Today however, we sooth Arsenal fans by providing the top three reasons why the Welshman won’t leave London in the summer.

Ramsey epitomizes Arsenal football club and relationship with the club:

Ramsey was certainly the driving force behind Arsenal’s brilliant start to the 2013-14 Premier League season and as we have earlier reported he features in our list as one of the most improved players from last season. His brilliant last minute runs into the box certainly compensated for Arsenal’s lack of physical presence in the opposition third, scoring at will. The 23 year old nicknamed Rambo by the Gunners faithful mustered 15 goals in 33 games for the Gunners this season and has sparked interest from both Barcelona and Bayern Munich this season. “But given his sense of loyalty to the Arsenal because of the way they looked after him following the double leg fracture he sustained against Stoke in 2010, Ramsey is certain to stay at the Emirates for a long time.”

Wenger believes that the Gunners might usher a new era:

The Frenchman believes that the FA Cup triumph might usher a new era at the club and is looking forward to happy times at the Emirates after penning a whopping contract extension. The Guardian have reported that Wenger’s three year deal is set to be £24m and he will be given a massive transfer kitty to spend in the summer. Former manager George Graham also believes that Arsenal need to build on this win and he feels that the Gunners are three signings away from competing for the Premier League title next season. With such a positive atmosphere buzzing around the club and given Ramsey’s intention to fight for silverware, there is absolutely no chance that he will walk away from the dawning of a new era at the club.

The rejuvenation of a certain box to box midfielder:

With Mikel Arteta failing consistently this season, it is believed that Bayer Leverkusen’s Lars Bender is headed to the Emirates in the summer. This would certainly mean that Ramsey would be given a free reign in midfield, doubling up in attack if Wenger doesn’t part with his ‘one striker up front’ system. More than the Gunners, it would be great joy to witness the reincarnation of the box to box midfielder. Ramsey ability to make impacts on either ends of the pitch would certainly be a base on which Wenger refines the Welshman’s role at the club and amongst the plethora of stars in the squad, the 23 year old might be heralded as a tactical masterstroke.
