The Gunners ended their league season on a high with a win over Norwich on the last day of the season. With this they have manged to secure 79 points, 7 behind the eventual champions Manchester City and just 3 behind Chelsea.
However, Arsenal’s most important game of the season lies ahead of them when they step out at Wembley against Hull City next Saturday to try and end their trophy drought. Arsene Wenger, who spoke to the press after the game admitted that he has to keep the current bunch together.
“If you look at our overall season I think we need to focus first of all on keeping everyone together”, he told when asked about potential transfer activity.
“It is very early, World Cup transfer markets start after the World Cup usually”, Wenger added.
