Top 5 Transfers That Arsenal Could Target In The Summer With Ease

Share

With the January transfer window done and dusted, a lot of players did not move, even though they only had 6 months remaining in their contracts. The clubs could have sold them to make a bit of money but it seems that the players wanted more options and are looking to make the right decision in the summer both in terms of signing for the right club as well as making some money.

This summer is going to be a cracker and here are some players who would be free agents and some who could arrive with a relatively low transfer fee.

Sami Khedira

For some reason Sami Khedira’s future has not been taken care off at Real Madrid. The German World Cup winner could have been a signing for Arsenal as he was courted by them for a long time but the deal just did not happen. The signings of Kroos and Modric has further reduced his playing time and it could be the end of the Spanish song for Khedira as he mulls his next move. Whatever happens he will be a fantastic signing for any club and we would not be surprised if he does make it to the Premier League next season.

Alexandre Pato

How the footballing Gods play with the best talents, Alexandre Pato had the world at his feet and was one of the best strikers and attackers in the game a few years back, he was the player at AC Milan but that all has changed in a really quick few months. It seems his career has spluttered like a dying engine on its last lap.

The 25 year old Brazilian is back in Brazil, not for some recovery but to play for Sao Paulo, however he would be available on a free at the end of the season and would be worth taking a gamble on.

Andre Ayew

The 25 year old Ghanaian has been one of the star performers for the club for quite a few seasons now and would be available on a free at the end of the season. Marseille have had a fantastic season in Ligue 1 and one of the reasons for that has been the amazing form of Ayew.

A gifted winger, who has a penchant to score, he would be an ideal player for any team looking to make their wings better, and after so many seasons at Marseille, he could make a move to a bigger league in the summer.

Christoph Kramer

He might not remember the World Cup final much but Christoph Kramer is one of the best young talents in the Bundesliga and his future is still not resolved as he will be out of contract from his current club Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, although his loanee club Borussia Monchengladbach are in pole position to sign him, any club that makes an increased bid for the German world cup winner could sign him.

James Milner

James Milner is a player everyone wants but somehow it seems Manchester City are not too sure about him. The English man is on his last 6 months at the Etihad and his versatility and commitment is something that is to be marvelled at. He can play as a wing back, defensive midfielder, attacker, winger and recently played as a false 9 or striker for Manchester City. A lot of clubs want to sign the talented player and it will be something to watch out for in the summer.
