Top 5 Game Changers In The Premier League Including Arsenal And Chelsea Stars

Share

Every club wants one, and most need one. The fabled game changers in world football are the players that step up to the mark when nobody else can, whether they are the type of player that fades in and out of games or a supersub, they are often the most enjoyable players to watch.

Top 5 Game Changers

Eden Hazard – Chelsea

The Belgian wizard was bought in from LOSC Lille 2 years ago for a large transfer fee, and although he doesn’t always live up to the price tag, but when he does, he is arguably the best player the Premier League has to offer. Speed and skill are his two best attributes as he often skips past several challenges to create an opening for the Chelsea strikers. The Belgium international is one to watch in the Premier League, and it will also be interesting to see how well he fairs at the World Cup this summer.

Javier Hernandez – Manchester United

Devoid of any real footballing talent, the Mexican can only really do one thing, but it’s how well he does it. Playing off the last defender, ‘Chicharito’ has scored many important goals for United and is often their trump card when he comes off the bench with only 20 minutes to go. 34 goals in 81 Premier League appearances isn’t a bad return for someone who rarely starts.

Tomas Rosicky – Arsenal

The man who has led Arsenal’s late season revivals over the past few seasons, all Rosicky needs is the ball and a man in front of him to play that killer pass. The Czech Republic international is often unfairly compared to Pavel Nedved, and for that reason a lot of people don’t rate him as highly as they should, Miroslav Klose isn’t criticised for never matching up to Gerd Muller, so it should not be done in the case of the former Dortmund midfielder.

Luis Suarez – Liverpool

The Uruguayan is a controversial player to say the least, but what he seemingly lacks in respect and courtesy, he makes up for with pure footballing talent. You could argue for days whether he is a better player now that what Torres was at Chelsea, but there is no denying that he means more to Liverpool than the Spaniard did. Whether it comes from a free-kick or an individual effort, Suarez usually has a say on how a game ends, making him one of the best game-changing players in the world.

David Silva – Manchester City

Probably the biggest reason why Manchester City have enjoyed success recently is the signing of former Valencia midfielder David Silva. The Spain international is one of the finest in the Premier League and one of the best No. 10’s in the world. Silva can change a game with a pass, run or a shot. With incredible balance and control, he has become one of the most feared players in the Premier League.
