It was another routine home win for Manchester City in the Premier League as the Cityzens went on to claim a 3-1 victory against Bournemouth at the Etihad stadium. Bernardo Silva opened the scoring for the league leaders in the 16th minute but Callum Wilson struck back to level the matters just before the half-time.
Raheem Sterling then continued his fine form with another goal to once again hand City the lead. Ilkay Gundogan then placed the icing on top of the cake with a third goal to seal three points.
Didn’t have much to do and should have done better with Wilson’s header. It was one of those days where Ederson looked nervy.
He looked good going forward and it was his shot that led to Sterling’s goal. But he looked slightly shaky at the back.
He was pretty much solid at the back and didn’t do anything wrong apart from Francis’ cross that eventually led to Wilson’s goal.
Almost allowed Bournemouth to score a second goal early into the second half. But it was otherwise a calm and composed display from Laporte.
His passing was very good on the night. Zinchenko was also defensively very fruitful on the night.
Had full control in midfield as he once again proved his worth in the side. He was probably lucky not to concede a penalty.
He had his good and bad moments in the game until he popped up at the right place and the right time to score the final goal.
He scored his goal in expert style. He was always involved in the link-up and did a good job tracking back.
He had an unusually quiet first half but scored a good goal in the second.
He worked very hard all game but it is his lack of game time that could have taken the toll on Jesus.
He tormented Francis right from the start and played a huge role in the first goal. He also picked up an assist for Gundogan’s goal.
Came on and ensured stability at the back. He did a good job as well.
Didn’t have much to do apart from playing out a few simple passes.
