Huddersfield Town were only able to pick up another point after drawing 1-1 with Everton at Goodison Park. David Wagner will be feeling the pressure given that the Terriers are languishing right above the relegation zone.
Philip Billing opened the scoring for Huddersfield Town but Everton swiftly struck back through Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Toffees created an ample number of opportunities but were unable to get the ball into the net.
Lossl made a string of important saves to keep the likes of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott at bay.
The right-back did whip in a couple of crosses into the box but Huddersfield were unable to convert it. He didn’t look defensively confident though.
Zanka was calm and composed on the ball. He was also crisp with his passing and kept things simple at the back.
Schindler was solid at the back for the Terriers and rarely played a wrong pass.
Kongolo made a couple of important vital interceptions and tackles to ensure Huddersfield came away with a point.
Lowe’s teasing balls into the box posed all sorts of problems for the Toffees. The left-back was impressive with his work rate as well.
The winger was often dispossessed and rarely produced anything going forward.
Mooy’s distribution in the middle of the park was frutiful, but the midfielder was unable to influence the game otherwise.
Billing scored the Terriers’ only goal of the game and was a vital presence in the middle of the park.
Van la Parra was impressive down the left flank and was a menace for the Everton defenders throughout the game.
Mounie wasn’t at his best on the night and was unable to threaten Everton’s goal.
Kachunga came on as a substitute but the Congo international was often easily dealt with.
The former Borussia Dortmund man came on and put in a good shift at the back. He ensured the scoreline stayed at 1-1.
The striker was brought on in place of Steve Mounie but had no time to play a role.
