Strongest Manchester United Line-up To Face Aston Villa – Start Januzaj And Nani

Share

Manchester United will take up some much needed morale boost after qualifying for knock-out stage in the champions league without suffering a defeat. They travel to Aston Villa who are unpredictable in the league.

Let’s see what are all the options available for Moyes to select a strongest possible lineup against the villains,

Defense

There are some doubts over the availability of Nemanja Vidic but mostly he is expected to start the game. Rafael to start in the right and Evans to partner Vidic. Buttner to replace injured Evra.

Central Midfield

Phil Jones

Central midfield is the biggest problem that David Moyes have at the moment. Compared to other top teams their midfield looks less than average, that too with out their influential English midfielder Michael Carrick. It is sensible for Moyes to play in-form Phil Jones as a defensive midfielder alongside with Cleverly.

Wings

Adnan Januzaj  who is touted as the next big thing at Old Trafford should start from the right. Antonio Valencia  has more pace than Adnan Januzaj but the former no 7 lacks creativity and offers less attacking threat than Januzaj. On the left, Nani should play. Nani is still a world class winger, all he needs is bit of confidence, that will only come if Moyes gives more game time to the Portuguese winger.

Attack

Red Devils receive massive boost as both of their super stars – Rooney and Robin vana Persie are available for the selection. Rooney is back from a one match ban and RVP looks completely fit again.
