Leeds United Player Ratings vs Millwall – Here’s how the Peacocks fared

Leeds United continued their unbeaten start to the season by securing a last-gasp 1-1 draw at Millwall. Jack Harrison scored a late goal to secure a point for Marcelo Bielsa’s men, who remain on top of the table with a one-point lead.

Millwall got the lead through Jed Wallace and almost won the game in the second half stoppage-time, only to be a tad unlucky. Leeds United equalised through Harrison, with a low drive from outside the box.

Leeds United Player Ratings

Bailey Peacock-Farrell (6)

Wasn’t at fault for the goal that was conceded and didn’t have much to do to.

Pontus Jansson (5.5)

Looked sluggish on the ball and almost gifted possession on a few occasions. Thankfully, he was defensively solid enough.

Liam Cooper (6)

Dealt with the danger very well and his passing was good. He became too eager at times and challenged dangerously inside his own box.

Kalvin Phillips

Kalvin Phillips (6.5)

Played as a central defender and looked at home dealing with the physicality of the Millwall strikers. His passing was good as well.

Luke Ayling (6)

Was given the license to move forward given the fact that Phillips was almost playing as a third centre-back. Ayling created the chances and almost scored, only for Ben Amos to make a good save.

Samuel Saiz (6.5)

A hard-working performance from the Spaniard, who was at the heart of the things that Leeds did on the pitch.

Mateusz Klich (5)

Not the best of displays from the Pole, who struggled to harness much impact. Was the first one to be subbed off.

Barry Douglas (6)

Made runs forward to support the attack but couldn’t create much. Was caught out of position at times.

Jack Harrison

Jack Harrison (7.5)

Didn’t create enough chances but his crucial low drive to score the equaliser was crucial.

Tyler Roberts (6)

Was not at the same level as Kemar Roofe. Though he made some good runs, he wasn’t clinical enough.

Ezgjan Alioski (4)

Was a poor performance from the Macedonian, who is not able to impact the games as much as Bielsa would have liked.

Substitutes

Lewis Baker (Subbed on after 61 mins) (5.5)

Did his best to give more strength and legs in the Leeds United midfield, but couldn’t do much.

Stuart Dallas (Subbed on after 68 mins) (6)

Had one chance when his shot went over the bar. Tried to make things happen.

Adam Forshaw (Subbed on after 74 mins) (6)

He never got enough time to impact the game but Forshaw showed why he can be a good addition to the team.
