Samir Nasri will be booed for the rest of his life when he visits Emirates stadium, no matter what team he plays for. But on Sunday Nasri missed out the Arsenal Vs Manchester City encounter due to the red card he received during Norwich game. However the French International had the guts to walk in public near the Emirates stadium along with his ex-team mate Marouane Chamakh, who is on loan at west Ham.
Nasri was confronted by two Arsenal fans who used inappropriate words on him.
Cuss words and aggressive gestures were hurled at ex-Gunner Nasri, and Chamakh, looking to defuse the tensions between the fans and the City midfielder, positioned himself as something of a bodyguard between the warring parties.
Eventually, as the steps of the Emirates came into view, one angry man got right in Nasri’s face, which saw Chamakh yank the supporter away from his former teammate in order to make sure nothing untoward played out. This is just disgraceful and pathetic from Arsenal fans.
People have to remember it is not an obligation to support a football club nor is it an obligation to play for one.
