Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo spoke to FIFA.com exclusively and the transcripts of the interview was published yesterday. The interview circled around his future, the Ballon d’Or awards and the situation Madrid are in.
Talking about his future and the speculation suggesting his return to Manchester United, Ronaldo said:
“I want to see out my contract at Real Madrid: I’m very clear about that. After that, well, I don’t know what will happen in the future,”
It is clear that the player is not ready to move out of Spain anytime sooner or at-least until 2015 when his contract expires. Big spending French club PSG and Ronaldo’s former employers are the two clubs which has been strongly rumoured with the player. City and Chelsea are also capable buyers but the player has already rejected moves to other clubs in England in the past. Though Ronaldo has been slated as unhappy by the media, he has never talked about leaving the Galacticos. He may leaved Madrid in the future but as of now Ronaldo himself is unsure of his future.
Real Madrid are not interested in Chelsea full back Cole:
Despite widespread reports say that Chelsea and England star is attracting interest from the Spanish giants, on the contrary, Real Madrid have dismissed completely their alleged interest for the left back. Real Madrid already have Brazilian full back Marcelo and Portuguese defender Coentrao with enough quality to play in that position and with the thoughts of bringing in youngster from academy the move seems very unlikely.
One problem Madrid may face is the failure to organize their squad for next season. No one knows if José Mourinho will stay and if the Portuguese leaves after bringing in Cole then the new manager will have an extra work of either keeping all the three players happy or to sell either Marcelo or Coentrao.
