Predicted Leicester City Line-up To Face Stoke City In The Premier League

After thrashing Leicester City 5-0 last weekend, Crystal Palace travel to relegation-threatened Stoke City on Saturday.

The Eagles have done enough to preserve their Premier League status after failing to amass a single point in their first seven games. They now have two games left in the season and manager Roy Hodgson will hope his boys end it on a high note.

Probable Crystal Palace XI

Formation: 4-4-2

Manager: Roy Hodgson

Wayne Hennessey (GK)

Hennessey has been a permanent fixture in goal for Palace and that is not going to change at the weekend.

Wayne Hennessey

Joel Ward (RB)

Joel Ward has endured a tough season but should keep his place against strugglers Stoke City.

James Tomkins (CB)

Tomkins has struggled with few injuries but is now fit and running. He is one of the most important members in the Palace team and he needs to be at the top of his game to keep Stoke attackers at bay.

Mamadou Sakho (CB)

Sakho is yet to find that form which made him a hero amongst the Palace fans. However, the Frenchman is a no-nonsense defender and adds a lot of aggression to the backline. He should continue partnering Tomkins at the heart of the Palace defence.

Patrick van Aanholt (LB)

At left-back, Van Aanholt has enjoyed a fantastic season for the Eagles. He is brilliant in the attack but needs to add more defensive solidity to his game. A definite starter against at Stoke.

Luka Milivojevic (CM)

Milivojevic has been a revelation for the Eagles this season. The Serbian brings a lot of stability to the midfield, exudes calmness and has already scored 10 goals this season. He will look to continue his good form as Palace eye for all three points on Saturday.

Luka Milivojevic and Wilfried Zaha

Yohan Cabaye (CM)

With his range of passing and crossing abilities, Cabaye is a huge presence in the middle of the park. He controls the flow of the game, never shies away from tackles and is a leader on the field.

James McArthur (RM)

Despite being a central midfielder, McArthur has been utilised on the right-wing and the player has performed very well. His energy and work ethic is commendable.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (LM)

The Chelsea-loanee missed a large chunk of the season due to injury but is now back and will be determined to showcase his abilities. Loftus-Cheek has great attacking qualities and is capable of changing the game in the blink of an eye.

Wilfried Zaha (LS)

The Eagles’ biggest asset going forward, Zaha put up a man of the match showing last weekend in the 5-0 drubbing of Leicester City. He is the man to watch as Palace look to end the season on a high.

Andros Townsend (RS)

Due to Benteke’s injury and poor form, Townsend has been used as a second striker and the move has worked wonders for Hodgson. Blessed with electric pace and trickery, Townsend is a big threat and his intelligent movement and wicked deliveries from his sweet left-foot make him a pivotal player for the Eagles.
