Earlier today, The Metro and other major tabloids claimed that Arsenal are ready to make a last ditch bid to sign Schalke play-maker Julian Draxler before next week’s transfer deadline.
It now looks like there are more basis to those rumours, as retired footballer and a respected German pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft has claimed that Arsenal and Schalke have agreed a fee for Draxler.
This was his Tweet just as Arsenal were playing their 4rd round FA cup tie against Coventry.
