Respected German Pundit Claims Arsenal Have Agreed A Fee For Draxler

Earlier today, The Metro and other major tabloids claimed that Arsenal are ready to make a last ditch bid to sign Schalke play-maker Julian Draxler before next week’s transfer deadline.

It now looks like there are more basis to those rumours, as retired footballer and a respected German pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft has claimed that Arsenal and Schalke have agreed a fee for Draxler.

This was his Tweet just as Arsenal were playing their 4rd round FA cup tie against Coventry.

Although Arsene Wenger denied any improvements on Draxler’s transfer during his pre-match press conference, you can never judge what the French man is upto. Draxler could be the final nail in the coffin for the Gunners this season, who can provide that added driving force to continue their title challenge as we get into the Business end of the Campaign.
