Rangers News: Rangers defender Connor Goldson believes Ryan Kent and  Joe Worrall will stay at Ibrox for next season. (h/t The Daily Record UK)

The future is up in the air for both the players, with their loan spells ending this season.

Goldson has said that Kent and Worrall are likely to extend their stay for the Light Blues.

 “I hope Joe comes back for another season and we’d definitely like Ryan to stay as well.

Kent, who is currently on loan from Liverpool, has been excellent for Steven Gerrard, scoring 6 goals and 4 assist, including the famous derby goal at Ibrox.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp expressed his interest in bringing the English winger back to Anfield, which resulted in a hefty price tag for the Gers.

The 22-year-old also expressed his desire to stay in Glasgow for a long time because of the club’s playing style and the overwhelming support from the fans.

Earlier, Gerrard pointed out the uncertainty over Kent’s future.

Worrall is expected to make a return to his parent club Nottingham Forrest, after what looked to be a decent loan-spell.

The English youngster created some controversy recently, after hitting out at arch-rivals Celtic in a video.

After suffering a dip in-form last month which followed into the Old Firm defeat, the Gers finally found their feet with back-to-back wins against Hearts and Motherwell.

In the absence of Alfredo Morelos, Jermain Defoe shone for the Ibrox side when teaming up with Scott Arfield, who scored a hat-trick against the Wells.
