Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has updated the injury status of Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere in Arsenal’s official website.
Santi Cazorla has been out of action since he had a surgery to repair a cruciate knee ligament injury which he suffered during a match against West Bromwich Albion in November. According to Wenger’s update, he is back in running state and will be back playing in the first team in the next few weeks.
While Jack Wilshere was injured his Fibula back in August and has not played a single minute of first-team football this season for Arsenal. Wilshere too is close to complete recovery and will be joining the training along with Cazorla and make his comeback into the first team football in the few weeks’ time.
Cazorla and Wilshere are solely missed in Arsenal, they were replaced by Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini who were not successful in forming a solid partnership same as Cazorla and Wilshere.
