Arsenal has confirmed that club legend Dennis Bergkamp’s Statue will be unveiled before their clash against Sunderland tomorrow. The legendary striker’s statue will be set above the Armoury Store, outside Emirates Stadium.
We showed you the preview of the statue almost a year back and now the original unveiling will take place at approximately 11.30am (UK) on Saturday. It has also been confirmed that Bergkamp will be present for the unveiling and will make an appearance on the pitch during the half-time to address the fans.
Bergkam, who spent 11 glorious years as an Arsenal player was a part of the invincibles squad and helped Arsenal to several trophies in his career. His statue joins the likes of Herbert Chapman, Tony Adams and Thierry Henry outside the Emirates.
