Olivier Giroud Is Feeling The Love, I Wanna Die For The Arsenal Fans

Share

Arsenal’s new signing Olivier Giroud is feeling the love shown on him by the fans. The Frenchman is bewildered by the songs sung about him during matches and he says it has had an impact in him. Giroud’s name go with the Beatles song “hey Jude” which makes it easy for the Gunner’s to sing a chorus whenever he is having a good day in the pitch.

Signed from Montpellier this summer, Giroud has been impressive after some initial struggles. Sure he’s not got RVP’s Movement or Technique but he’s a real handful and he’s good in the air & on the ground. When the fans sing your name to create an electric effect inside the stadium it is always a good feeling for any player and Giroud agrees to it and wants to says he wants to die for the fans on the pitch – not literally.

Talking to the Arsenal player, he said:

“I`m a striker and a striker needs to have a good atmosphere,” Giroud told Arsenal Player.

“You have to keep confident. The atmosphere around you and the support of fans, it makes me feel better and better. I feel very emotive and proud to play for Arsenal.

“When I heard the fans` song … when I came here for the first time, I heard this song and it made me want to die on the pitch for the fans.”
