Manchester United’s managerial position has been on speculation since a long time. While we believed Jose Mourinho will be the next boss of the Old Trafford, media has added one more name to the list of candidates which brings Mourinho’s appointment at United back into spotlight.
Recent addition to United’s Managerial war is the name of Ryan Giggs. According to Simon Mullock, Machester United will bring in Ryan Giggs to replace Louis Van Gaal, as such it is believed that Giggs will be the best candidate to bring United out of their current slump.
Some believe that bringing Mourinho in will only result into temporary solution to United’s problems. And as such United’s contact with Mourinho was first initiated from the Portuguese manager’s side.
Further United also need to honour a promise that the club made to Ryan Giggs when he agreed to become Van Gaal’s assistant.
While Giggs is said to be a safer choice for the Red Devils, many at the United are in favor of bringing in Mourinho as the next in charge.
