Predicted Wolves line-up to face Everton in the Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers begin their quest for a top-half finish in the Premier League, playing against Everton at the Molineux on the opening day. They have spent some big bucks on some of the signings this summer, which can propel the newly-promoted team to new heights this season.

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo has brought in high-quality Portuguese talents like Joao Moutinho, Rui Patricio along with Diogo Jota, Raul Jimenez and other exciting prospects. He is expected to continue fielding his preferred 3-4-2-1 formation with a high-press and passing football from the back.

Saiss is a flexible player who can fit into a back-3 system and come out with the ball when in possession. He is a very good defender as well.

Coady was integral to what Wolves did at the back last season, with secured defending and passing out from the back.

Willy Boly

Boly’s strength and physicality will be of great use in the Premier League. Expect him to shrug off strikers with ease.

The creator in chief, Neves is expected to showcase his world-class talent in the Premier League. Defenders should be wary of him this season.

After the departure of Barry Douglas to Leeds United, Castro, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid, will take up that left wing-back position.

Helder Costa (LF)

Costa is vital in Wolves’ attack, running at defenders with the ball and creating chances for the striker to finish.

Diogo Jota

Diogo Jota (RF)
