Miralem Pjanic: I Was Very Close To Sign For Arsenal

Share

Tottenham target Miralem Pjanic has revealed that he was very close to become an Arsenal player two seasons ago but his father made him to sign for Roma instead.

Since his €11 million move from Lyon, everything went wrong for Pjanic. He just started just 20 matches last season and as rumors suggests he may leave Roma this Summer.

He told Avaz Sport,

“I had a number of offers at the time and I was set to join Arsenal,”

“I had agreed all of the conditions that had been put into place.

“However, my father had given his word to Roma and therefore I opted to sign for the Giallorossi instead.”
