Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamedni has been subject to transfer interest from his former club Valencia, as per a report from Marca.
The Argentine centre-back has been serving the Sky Blues for around five seasons, playing more than 150 games.
Going forth, Pep Guardiola shouldn’t consider the South American as a long-term entity and try to get rid of him in due time.
It is unarguable that Otamendi has been pivotal for Pep Guardiola’s side, helping them win a handful of titles. However, the 2018/19 campaign saw him go down the pecking order due to the presence of Aymeric Laporte, who was in great form throughout the campaign.

He also had a lethargic campaign with Argentina in Copa America, where his performance was highly criticized. The former FC Porto man holds a contract with the Cityzens until 2022.
The Sky Blues enjoyed the same amount of domestic dominance the last term but once again failed to win the elusive UCL trophy.
