Madrid Press Claim This About Manchester United Main-Man After Summer Long Transfer Sagas

Share

Marca’s Friday edition has been all praises for Manchester United’s Ed Woodward. Not! Well, the Spanish newspaper analyzed all the Manchester United transfers this summer in their printed edition and the club CEO’s performance so far. With a number players who have moved to Old Trafford and a list of stars who have left the club, it was an interesting thing to do though.

The David De Gea situation was the main story that was being covered with Marca once again talking about the broken relation between De Gea and Louis Van Gaal, still suggesting that the keeper would prefer being off to Real Madrid rather than staying at Old Trafford.

Marca felt that the Red Devils are at a loss in either case, whether they sell him now for €30m-€40m or let him leave for free at the end of next season if he stays now.

Further, sources within United see Woodward as a naïve man, after failing to sign Pedro, Gundogan, Otamendi or Ramos.

Manchester United did have the financial backing to sign one of their targets, as per Marca and a majority of the fans will surely agree with them.

Further, the Spanish daily made some valid points and honestly, if the United CEO picked up a copy of this edition and read it, he would understand how much his stubbornness is infuriating the Madrid press.
