The 19-year-old has been included in the squad for tomorrow’s game.
Bielsa said, (h/t Yorkshire Evening Post)
“He has all the skills needed to play in the attack; he has good quality and speed too.”
The English midfielder progressed through the youth ranks of League Two club Forest Green Rovers.
He later signed for the Whites in 2018 and was often an unused substitute in the early stages of the games.
He finally got a game in the defeat against Stoke City, appearing as a substitute in the final third of the game.
Since then, Stevens has been a regular for U-23’s and shown great signs of development.
Now, he has managed to get his name in the first-team, beating the likes of the fellow countryman Jack Clarke.
The Argentine manager holds a reputation for always looking to the reserves squad, filtering the talents and pushing them upwards in every possible way.
And it is a chance for Stevens who was touted by many as the replacement for Samu Saiz, to shine for the Whites in their promotion race.
Bielsa also said that his side has to win all of their remaining games and added that any team is capable of outsmarting the other in the Championship.
The Peacocks are second in the table, with their promotion rivals Sheffield United slipping down, as a result of their draw against Birmingham.
