Predicted Crystal Palace line-up to face Leicester in the Premier League

Crystal Palace will entertain Leicester City at the Selhurst Park on Saturday as they look to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Eagles were beaten 3-2 by West Ham at the London Stadium last weekend, leaving them 16th in the Premier League table, just two points above the drop zone.

Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace will be desperate to win at home against Leicester, who also head into this game on the back of a 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

Team News

James Tomkins and Wilfried Zaha will miss the Leicester game as they have picked up five yellow cards each.

Connor Wickham, Scott Dann and Christian Benteke remain sidelined but Patrick van Aanholt could recover from the shoulder injury to face the Foxes.

Probable Crystal Palace XI

Formation: 4-5-1

Manager: Roy Hodgson

Wayne Hennessey (GK)

Hennessey will look to keep a clean sheet on Saturday after conceding three goals at West Ham.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

Wan-Bissaka has nailed down his place at right-back this season. The youngster’s confidence on the ball, tackling traits and immense game-reading maturity make him a special player.

Martin Kelly (CB)

With Tomkins suspended for this game, Kelly will be his natural replacement.

Mamadou sakho

Mamadou Sakho (CB)

Sakho needs to step up his game and be counted when Leicester visit Selhurst Park at the weekend.

Patrick van Aanholt (LB)

An energetic left-back, Van Aanholt will look to cause all kinds of problems to the Leicester right-back.

Luka Milivojevic (CDM)

Milivojevic could start in a deeper role against the Foxes, offering a layer of protection to the back-four. A set-piece specialist, he is a certain starter for the weekend clash.

Luka Milivojevic

Cheikhou Kouyate (RCM)

Kouyate brings a lot of physicality to the Palace engine room. The Senegalese, however, is yet to put in a complete display in a Palace shirt.

Max Meyer (LCM)

A creative player, Meyer will look to find pockets of spaces behind the Leicester defence and exploit it with his passing skills.

Andros Townsend (RW)

Townsend loves to drift inside from the right onto his sweet left foot and go for a pop at goal. He has scored a couple of outstanding goals this season and will look to get on the scoresheet on Saturday.

Andros Townsend (right)

Jeffrey Schlupp (LW)

Schlupp’s breakneck pace and directness could give the Leicester defenders a tough time at the weekend.

Jordan Ayew (ST)

With Zaha suspended for this game, leading the home side’s attack could be Jordan Ayew.
