Predicted Bournemouth line-up to face Wolves in the Premier League

Bournemouth will travel to the Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers as Eddie Howe looks to bounce back to winning ways.

The Cherries, who hold eighth place in the table, suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat against Liverpool at home last weekend. Overall, they are in a bad run of form which consists of five defeats in their last six.

On Saturday, Bournemouth will face a stellar test against Wolves, who come into this game after successive wins over Chelsea and Newcastle United.

Team News

Callum Wilson missed the Liverpool game with a hamstring problem but should be fit to face Wolves on Saturday.

Adam Smith is out for several months after undergoing knee surgery for a cartilage tear. Dan Gosling is nursing a minor knee problem, while Lewis Cook has been ruled out for the season due to an ACL injury.

Probable Bournemouth XI

Formation: 4-4-2

Manager: Eddie Howe

Asmir Begovic (GK)

Begovic is the undisputed No.1 in goal for the Cherries and should start against Wolves.

Simon Francis (RB)

Francis has made the right-back spot his own this season. He is a certain starter on Saturday.

Steve Cook (CB)

Cook put in a disappointing performance against Liverpool last weekend. He’ll look to redeem himself at Molineux.

Nathan Ake (CB)

Strong in the air and robust in the challenge, Ake will have to be at the top of his game to keep Wolves’ nippy attackers at bay.

Charlie Daniels (LB)

Daniels lacks the pace needed for a full-back but he makes it up with his work ethic and positional awareness. With Adams sidelined, he is a sure starter at left-back.

Jefferson Lerma (CM)

Lerma is a powerful midfielder who will look to break Wolves’ attacks. His energy and intensity have made Bournemouth’s engine room quite strong.

Andrew Surman (CM)

Surman has the ability to pick out a pass and use his creativity to split open defences. He should start alongside Lerma in central midfield.

David Brooks (RW)

Brooks has been a top performer for Bournemouth, offering pace and creativity in abundance. He will look to stretch Wolves’ defence with his speed and imagination.

Ryan Fraser (LW)

Fraser is an indispensable figure for this Bournemouth side and should retain his place in the starting XI against Wolves.

Joshua King

Joshua King (RS)

King’s physicality and aerial ability would keep the Wolves defenders on their toes.

Callum Wilson (LS)

Wilson is expected to recover from the hamstring problem that kept him out of the Liverpool game. With 8 goals and 5 assists so far this season, he is Bournemouth’s most lethal weapon going forward.
