Crystal Palace vs Brighton Predictions: Crystal Palace line-up

Crystal Palace have recently been on a roll away from home but have struggled at Selhurst Park. Roy Hodgson’s side have won just one of their last 6 home games and will look to improve on that when they take on Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

Team news

Roy Hodgson has been quite lucky with injuries recently, with just 2 players ruled out for the game on Saturday. Pape Souare is close to a return but would not be ready for Saturday and Mamadou Sakho is unlikely to feature for the next 2 months after he underwent knee surgery.

Probable Crystal Palace XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Roy Hodgson

Wayne Hennessey (GK)

The 32-year-old made some important saves in the game against Burnley and will have to be sharp again on Saturday.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

The 21-year-old was sensational at the weekend and provided a brilliant assist against Burnley. He should start again on Saturday.

James Tomkins (CB)

The former West Ham man has played 25 games so far this season and his experience will be key at the back for Palace.

Scott Dann (CB)

The veteran started against Burnley due to Sakho’s injury and did a very good job. His aerial presence and leadership at the back will be important against Brighton on Saturday.

Patrick van Aanholt (LB)

The 28-year-old hasn’t been at his best this season but has done a decent job at left-back under Roy Hodgson. He should start again on Saturday.

Jeffrey Schlupp (CM)

The Ghanian played in his natural left-wing position against Burnley but is expected to return to central midfield on Saturday.

Luka Milivojevic (CM)

The skipper has scored 8 goals so far and is the club’s joint top-scorer this season. He is a massive presence in the midfield.

James McArthur (CM)

The 31-year-old came off the bench against Burnley and should start next to his skipper in the game on Saturday.

Wilfried Zaha (LW)

The goal machine started the game last weekend on the right wing but is expected to return to his natural left-wing role on Saturday.

Andros Townsend (RW)

The former Spurs man has scored just 4 goals this season and will look to improve his tally on Saturday. He should start on the right wing.
