Predicted Wolves line-up to face Everton in the Premier League

Wolves will be aiming to keep their good form going when they face Everton away at Goodison Park this Saturday. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men were by far the better team when they thrashed West Ham United 3-0 on Tuesday night.

That result helped them to seventh-place in the table, with a great chance of finishing in the Europa League qualification places.

The Old Gold are now up against an Everton side who were in a bad patch until they got a vital win away at Huddersfield in the midweek fixture.

Marco Silva’s men are currently eighth in the table, just two points behind their opponents of this weekend. Hence, expect a close contest between both teams vying for a top-eight finish.

Team News

Nuno must be a happy man to see that his squad is fit and ready for action, week in week out. They have been one of the most settled squads in the league this season.

Probable Wolves XI

Formation: 3-4-1-2

Manager: Nuno Espirito Santo

Rui Patricio (GK)

The Portuguese has been a decent addition to the squad and is an expected starter in goal in the league games.

Ryan Bennett

Ryan Bennett (RCB)

He is a part of a settled back three that has done a very good job this season.

Conor Coady (CB)

The captain has led from the front and done very well at the back. His long-range passing is also something to cherish about. He starts almost every league game.

Willy Boly (LCB)

After being sent off against Manchester City, the Frenchman has served his three-match suspension and should be back in the line-up on Saturday.

Matt Doherty (RWB)

The buccaneering wing-back loves to go forward but never forgets his defensive duties. He is expected to start this weekend.

Ruben Neves

Ruben Neves (CM)

The young Portuguese has been in sensational form in the midfield, spraying dangerous passes for the opposition defenders. His work rate makes him fantastic in his overall game. A certain starter against Everton.

Leander Dendoncker (CM)

The Belgian has done a fantastic job in central midfield alongside Neves. He is expected to keep his place for this game.

Jonny (LWB)

The Spaniard has signed a permanent deal with the club, and deservedly so. He is an ever-present at left wing-back and is expected to start this game.

Joao Moutinho (CAM)

Nuno has freed the experienced Moutinho in a slightly free role in the midfield, where he can take different positions and trouble the opposition.

Diogo Jota

Diogo Jota (SS)

The Portuguese has been in fine form in the past few games, especially when the manager has deployed him in a central role just behind the main striker. Everton defenders would be vary of him come Saturday.

Raul Jimenez (ST)

He is one of many Wolves players who have had an incredible season. The Mexican scored a brace against West Ham and does his job well.
