Predicted Brighton & Hove Albion line-up To Face Leicester City In The Premier League

Brighton & Hove Albion host Leicester City at the Amex Stadium on Saturday and this game is equally important for both sides. A win for the hosts could help them close the gap and break into the top-10 but if Leicester manage to win, they could close down the gap on 6th-placed Burnley.

Brighton and Leicester have faced their share of ups and downs throughout the season but at present, they seem to be stable and it will be an interesting match for sure.

Team News

Leonardo Ulloa will miss this one since he cannot face his parent club. Anthony Knockaert is out suspended while Dale Stephens will undergo a late fitness test to determine his availability. However, there is good news for the fans since Gaetan Bong will play after recovering from a thigh strain.

Probable Brighton XI

Manager: Chris Hughton

Formation: 4-4-2

Matthew Ryan (GK)

Ryan is expected to return to the line-up after a lacklustre display by Tim Krul in the previous match.

Ezequiel Schelotto (RB)

Schelotto is likely to retain his spot and provide some much-needed energy and zest on the right-hand side.

Lewis Dunk (CB)

Dunk has been one of Brighton’s most consistent performers and he is likely to be deployed in his usual role this weekend.

Shane Duffy (CB)

Duffy has partnered Dunk in the heart of the defence for a good majority of the season so far and that is unlikely to change against Leicester.

Gaetan Bong (LB)

After a period of absence, Bong should be back in the line-up.

José Izquierdo (LM)

Izquierdo came on for Locadia in the game against Manchester United and he could be handed a start against the Foxes.

Davy Propper (CM)

Propper is expected to hold his spot and dictate the proceedings in the midfield area.

Davy Propper (left)

Biram Kayal (CM)

Stephens continues to be doubtful, so Kayal could receive another start.

Solly March (RM)

March has been quite impressive with his creativity and incisive runs lately and he should start this Saturday.

Pascal Gross (SS)

Gross continues to be a vital player for the Seagulls and he excels at penetrating the toughest of defences to make things work for Brighton.

Glenn Murray (CF)

Ulloa cannot play this one, so Murray should lead the line.
