Predicted Swansea City line-up To Face Manchester United In The Premier League

Swansea City travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday. The Red Devils will be looking to solidify their position in the league table but Carlos Carvalhal’s men are capable of subjecting them to a nasty upset.

Jose Mourinho must not take the opponents lightly. This could be an entertaining clash and with that in mind, let’s take a look at Swansea’s team news.

Team News

Renato Sanches, Angel Rangel, Wilfried Bony and Leroy Fer are all out with injuries while Jordan Ayew is suspended.

Probable Swansea City XI

Manager: Carlos Carvalhal

Formation: 5-4-1

Lukasz Fabianski (GK)

Fabianski has been one of Swansea’s brightest players this season and he should start against United.

Martin Olsson (LB)

Olsson has been a constant presence for Swansea on the left-hand side and he is likely to retain his spot in this area.

Mike van der Hoorn (CB)

van der Hoorn has been a solid player for the club in recent times and he should continue in his usual role on Saturday.

Alfie Mawson (CB)

Mawson is one of Swansea’s most crucial players at the back and he should receive a start.

Alfie Mawson

Federico Fernandez (CB)

Fernandez works extremely well with the aforementioned centre-backs and he should be deployed in order to keep a strong Manchester United attack at bay.

Kyle Naughton (RB)

The defence line is expected to be completed by Naughton at right-back.

Sam Clucas (LM)

Clucas played well against Spurs and he is likely to be deployed against the Red Devils as well.

Andy King (CM)

King’s experience and power have added a whole new dimension to Swansea’s overall game and the midfielder is expected to start at Old Trafford.

Tammy Abraham

Ki Sung-yueng (CM)

The South Korean has been prolific for Swansea and it is important that he does a good job this weekend.

Andre Ayew (RM)

Ayew is likely to start in his usual role and add some much-needed creativity and bite to the Swansea attack.

Tammy Abraham (CF)

Since Jordan Ayew is out suspended, Abraham is likely to fill in for him and lead the line.
