Predicted Crystal Palace line-up to face Bournemouth in Premier League

Crystal Palace travel to the Vitality stadium to face Bournemouth on Monday in the Premier League.

The Eagles drew 0-0 with Newcastle United at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday before winning 3-0 against Championship side West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday to seal their place in the last 16 of the EFL Cup.

Roy Hodgson will be delighted with the way his boys responded in midweek and would expect them to put in a similar performance against Bournemouth, who will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 4-0 loss to Burnley last weekend.

Team News

Scott Dann joined the training sessions last week, while Pape Souare came off the bench in the Carabao Cup win over West Brom after recovering from a muscle problem.

Meanwhile, Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham remain sidelined for the Eagles.

Probable Crystal Palace XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Roy Hodgson

Wayne Hennessey (GK)

Hennessey is a giant goalkeeper with good shot-stopping abilities and a strong presence in the box. He is expected to start against Bournemouth.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

Wan-Bissaka has made the right-back spot his own with a series of energetic displays. He is an attacking full-back who offers plenty of width going forward.

James Tomkins (CB)

Tomkins is a reliable defender for Palace. He is a very good reader of the game and remains a threat from set-pieces.

Mamadou Sakho (CB)

Sakho may not be the most convincing of centre-backs when it comes to bringing the ball out from the back but he can be trusted to do a certain job.

Patrick Van Aanholt (LB)

An attacking left-back, Van Aanholt is blessed with explosive pace and high levels of stamina. He should retain his place in the Palace line-up.

Luka Milivojevic (CDM)

Milivojevic plays a crucial role for Palace as he breaks down the opposition attacks and offers balance to the midfield. He is a constant threat from dead-ball situations.

Max Meyer

Max Meyer (RCM)

Meyer’s midweek performance against West Brom must be enough to warrant him a start in the Premier League. The German is a classy midfield operator, blessed with superb technique and body control.

James McArthur (LCM)

McArthur’s work ethic is extraordinary as he keeps Palace ticking throughout the game. Should start this game.

Andros Townsend (RW)

Townsend would be bursting with confidence following his fantastic brace in the 3-0 win over West Brom in the Carabao Cup. He will look to add to his tally against Bournemouth next week.

Wilfried Zaha (LW)

Zaha is Palace’s most potent weapon going forward. Bournemouth will have to be wary of Zaha’s pace, power and trickery on Monday.

Jordan Ayew (ST)

Ayew has done well in the last few games and must start against Bournemouth.
