Sheffield United beat Millwall after a thrilling finale which saw David McGoldrick score two late goals to win three points for the Blades.
Billy Sharp scored the other goal for the away side just before half-time to give them the lead. Cooper and Lee Gregory were on the scoresheet for the home team, who turned the game around in the first five minutes of the second half.
But David McGoldrick scored from the penalty spot to equalise and later had a tap-in to win an important game for Chris Wilder’s men. This win puts them at fourth position in the table, just one point behind leaders West Brom.
Had no chance to save either goal that was conceded. Didn’t have to make crucial saves though.
Basham was defensively good but it is his incisive passing which has raised a few eyebrows in a positive way.
Not afraid to give his all for the team. Made some very good interceptions and crucial tackles.
His battle with Millwall striker Steve Morison was an interesting one throughout the game.
The wing-back was very effective moving forward. He seems to gain confidence with every outing.
Freeman spent most of the game in the opposition half. We can imagine how Sheffield United would have dominated the game. This was amongst the two mistakes which offered two goals to Millwall.
A very good orchestrator of the passing moves and the dictation of the game’s tempo. The on-loan midfielder is doing very well.
Assisted the Gregory goal and apparently did a huge favour to his opponents. Apart from that, he was good.
Duffy’s crossing, intelligence and the threat to the opposition defence are pretty obvious these days. Assisted the first goal.
Worked hard to not allow opponents easy time on the ball. Missed a penalty in the first half but scored later to cover that up.
Was always in and around the creative moments. His movement and touch are special. Scored two late goals to win the game.
Came to add more energy to the midfield.
After United got the lead, Wilder threw in a centre-back for extra protection.
Had no time to make an impact.
