Manchester United have been linked with Benfica midfielder Renato Sanches for some time now and according to recent reports United are ready to seal the deal for the 18-year-old.
Sanches has an agreement on principle to move from Benfica, however, United have not been able to fix the transfer fee for the player. While Manchester City too were interested in the player and wanted to sign him, Real Madrid is keeping close tabs on the situation of the player.
The transfer is now set to cost United £39m and super agent Jorge Mendes, who is the common agent for both Jose Mourinho as well as Sanches is said to have fast-tracked the deal between both the clubs.
Sanches has had an excellent season and has also made his International debut in March. The player is in contract with Benfica till 2021, however, his move from the club seems to be an inevitable event.
