Chelsea winger Charly Musonda wants to continue in Real Betis. Musonda who had moved to Real Betis for a developmental loan spell is now looking to stay in the club longer.
Real Betis president confirmed that Musonda may extend his stay at the Spanish club beyond this season. Musonda has been on Real Betis’s first team and hence has impressed one and all with his performances and the prospect of improving his game with regular first team chances seems to be an attractive deal for the Belgian player.
“I talk to people at Chelsea every two weeks. They know that my priority is Betis. If I’m happy as in recent weeks do not need to talk every day. The most important thing for me is to play.”- Musonda
In an interview with Estadio Deportivo, the youngster confirmed that he wants to continue at Spain beyond this season. The 19-year-old stated the pros of spending his time in Spain and stated that his family is happy there and even though he speaks to Chelsea representatives regularly his first priority is Betis and more game time.
The player being happy at Spain may mean that in the long run he may end up in one of the biggest Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona.
