Go For It Arsenal! Why This Spanish Goal Poacher Is Worth £38m?

There is no doubt that Arsene Wenger’s side are in need of signing an additional striker and the French manager will look to make a move to add a high quality attacker to his squad this around. With various world-class players already being linked with a move to the Emirates, Arsenal do have a lot of players on their wish-list whom they can sign this summer, in order to strengthen their squad.

One such player is Juventus’ striker Alvaro Morata, who has been linked with a move away from Turin in recent times  after falling down the pecking order at the Serie A club and the Gunners looking to take advantage of the whole situation.

It seems that the player’s former club Real Madrid have already named their price for the 23 year old Spain international, as they will look to buy him back from Juve and then cash in on him, with the north London outfit told to shell out a fee of £38m.

Now the question on everyone’s mind is whether or not the deal would be a good one for Wenger and his side, who look desperate to add another striker to their current squad with the hopes of winning some major titles in the upcoming campaign.

Is Morata actually worth £38m? With the current form that he is in, will it be a move worth investing in for the Gunners? Wenger hasn’t been known to take too many risks in recent times and the result eventually has not been so good.

The Frenchman has avoided deals in the recent years, which were needed, but the club did spend a huge amounts of money to sign sign players like Ozil, Sanchez and Xhaka.

It is the high time that Wenger goes all out and add some quality players and Morata could be one player for the future, as he is still young and can provide a healthy competition for Olivier Giroud in the squad. Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck have failed to make a real impression last season and are not really reliable with the number of injuries that the duo have suffered in the past few seasons.

It would be stupid to avoid Morata who can either pair up with Giroud or be a perfect option to replace him. He is not a selfish player and knows how to pass the ball around for his teammates to net in. Due to some of these qualities, he could possibly settle right into the squad at Arsenal, which can benefit the club in the long run.

Morata has made a total of 63 appearances for the Italian giants, scoring 15 times since joining them in 2014 and can really come in hand if used properly by Wenger. Thumps up to Wenger!! Let it happen!!
