Predicted Fulham line-up to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League

Fulham began their Premier League campaign with a 0-2 loss at home to Crystal Palace in a game where they would have felt a bit hard done by after creating enough chances to score at least one goal. Manager Slavisa Jokanovic has a talented squad at his disposal with many new players joining the club this summer, so it will some time for the team to gel together and perform well.

Up against Tottenham, the challenge will be tougher and bigger. The Cottagers need to be at their best if they are to stand a chance of getting something out of this weekend’s clash and avoid a loss.

Team News

Alfie Mawson and Floyd Ayite are out injured, whereas Tim Ream and Joe Bryan are doubtful to be a part of the squad on Saturday. Meanwhile, Denis Odoi is suspended.

Probable Fulham XI

Manager: Slavisa Jokanovic

Formation: 4-3-3

Fabri (GK)

The experienced Spanish shot-stopper made a vital save to keep the scores level but couldn’t do much to stop the two goals they conceded. He will be vital to Fulham this season.

Cyrus Christie (RB)

Christie should start at right-back and hope to perform better this weekend.

Calum Chambers (CB)

The Arsenal loanee was caught on the wrong side for Palace’s first goal and he has to do better to retain his manager’s faith.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah (CB)

With Joe Bryan doubtful for this weekend, Maxime Le Marchand could move to left-back position and Manchester United loanee Fosu-Mensah could start at right-back.

Maxime Le Marchand

Maxime Le Marchand (LB)

The versatile defender should play at left-back since Bryan is a doubt.

Kevin McDonald (CDM)

Fulham’s main man in central areas to shield the back-four, McDonald should look to put in another good shift and stop the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Jean Michael Seri (LCM)

Given that last week was his debut in the Premier League, Seri did decently well. However, he has the potential to do better for Fulham.

Tom Cairney

Tom Cairney (RCM)

The captain will be rallying his troops to put up a better show against one of the top sides in Europe.

Andre Schurrle (RW)

Schurrle should have won a penalty for his team last around had the referee seen it. Apart from that, the German international was in and out of the game.

Ryan Sessegnon (LW)

The youngster was lively for large parts of the game against Palace but must show more of that to go past a solid Spurs defence.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (ST)

The Serb could have scored at least once last week had it not been for Wayne Hennessey making a fantastic save. He is Fulham’s main man and expectations are high after a permanent move this summer.
