With recent reports suggesting that Thibaut Courtois is being lined up as Real Madrid’s top transfer target, Chelsea may be left needing a replacement goalkeeper this summer. With all hopes of top four gone and a place in the Europa League spots seeming unlikely, Chelsea will be out of European competitions after more than a decade. Many such factors have affected the players and fans alike.

Top stars might look for new clubs, with a new manager guaranteed to ring changes when he arrives in London at the end of this season. Latest reports is that Los Blancos will look to sign Thibaut Courtois if the De Gea deal fails to go through. The attraction of playing in Spain and of playing for Real is hard for any player in the world and if a right offer comes, Courtois may leave Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Jack Butland

Butland has been in sensational form this season in the Premier League, he has established himself as one of the best young keepers in the world. Although he has just signed a new deal with Stoke City, a move to London will be hard to turn down for the English lad. The fact that he is English will also go a long way in filling Chelsea’s English quota in their squad.
