3 Reasons Why This Beast Striker Would Be A Good Fit At Manchester United

Share

With the speculation over Dutchman’s future at The Theatre Of Dreams is in doubt, there is a constant rumor about the Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho taking over the Red Devils in the Summer. Devils had an impressive beginning of the 2015-16 season but the team has eventually lost its shape as the league comes to an end. Anyway, this a different topic to talk about but the current news here is the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has tipped that he would leave Everton at the end of the season.

With Jose Mourinho widely considered to take over the Devils at the end of the season, Lukaku will be a great hit at Manchester United after combining yet again with his former boss. Lukaku having a bumbling playing career with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea has admitted that he would have no problem to work with the Portuguese yet again.

Romelu Lukaku’s father, Roger admitted that Romelu has been offered the contracts from clubs like Athletico Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Manchester United and he thinks the striker should move to Old Trafford.

Here are the 3 Reasons why Lukaku Would be a Good Fit at The Theatre Of Dreams-

  1. A Perfect Goal Poacher-

With the Devils lacking in their final third this season, the team have a very bitter shot accuracy of 49%. With Lukaku joining the squad.team may come in its shape and would definitely start scoring just like the Good Old Days.

Lukaku is capable of hitting the ball with both the feet and is a complete attacking minded player. While playing for Everton, he had proved his hunger for the goals. This season, he has 25 goals in all competition and a shooting accuracy of 53% is surely a good stat for a 22-year old player. Lukaku can provide some good finishes for Manchester United.

And as according to Paul Scholes that “You cannot rely on 18-19-year-old players to get you a goal”, Lukaku will be a perfect Centre Forward United desperately needs.

  1. Can Fit The United Team ‘Under Construction’-

Well, we can surely say that United is a team that needs a Construction and in the process of this Lukaku can be a real workhorse. United this season is criticized for not scoring goals, only building up the attack and keeping possession or what their Fans called ‘Boring Game’ Lukaku. Physically fit, great sprinting ability, good in the air, can score with both feet. Lukaku can solve and fulfill the need of United’s attacking substance.

The most expensive teenager Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata are the only players United can rely on to get the goals and after the arrival of Jose Mourinho, he will need a striker who can skip past the defenders and can keep the possession of the ball until the support arrives. Lukaku can be that “missing piece in the jigsaw” for the Club who is facing a poor rate of shot-to-goal conversion this season.

  1. Have Premier League Experience-

It has been very clear that not every player can adapt the style of play and the aggressive nature of Barclays Premier League. But a very well experienced in the league and playing since the age of 18, Lukaku knows every ups and downs of the league. A player like Memphis Depay is struggling to fit the boots of EPL but Lukaku has a great experience and knows how to keep hold of the ball and struggle for it in the Barclays Premier League.

Lukaku has scored 45 goals in his 85 appearances for the Toffees since making a permanent move and with a total of 70 goals in his Premier League career, he is a lethal weapon for any club. Romelu Lukaku also has scored more goals from an open play (15) than any other player in the Premier League this season.
