Forget Depay And Lingard – 3 Wingers That Manchester United Should Look To Sign This Summer Including This West Ham Star

Share

Manchester United might not be the force they once were in the Premier League but that does not stop them from being one of the biggest teams in the world. They do have a lot of cash and would be looking to upgrade certain positions in the team come the next transfer window.

The Red Devils are in desperate need of some attacking threat, even though they have spent millions on Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay this season. This isn’t the Manchester United that had Cristiano Ronaldo on one side and Nani – when he was on fire – on the other side.

United will obviously spend a lot to fix their squad and here are three wingers they should try to sign in the next transfer window.

Antoine Griezmann

The French attacker is one of the hottest players in La Liga at the moment and seems to be scoring at will. The 24-year-old can play either as a striker or as a winger but the most important thing is his creativity in all this.

Griezmann is an incredible asset to have, not only is he great in attack, he can do a job and defend for the team also. His creativity is what is taking Atletico Madrid places and well the fact that he scores in big games will certainly help Manchester United out sometime soon.

Dimitri Payet

The reason why West Ham have been so brilliant this season is due to the diminutive Frenchman. The Hammers somehow pulled out the deal of the season by signing him from Marseille and he has become an instant hit in the league.

The 28-year-old might not be the youngest player in the league but he is one of the best. He can be the creator or goal scorer and can even take free-kicks, United need someone who can be the focal point of the attack and Payet is just the right player for them, if only they can pay the mount that West Ham want.

Riyad Mahrez

Another player who is starring in the Premier League is the Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian seems to be taking Leicester to the Premier League title and even when Jamie Vardy isn’t scoring the goals the 24-year-old is doing his bit.

Mahrez is in the mould of your typical winger who does play out wide and crosses the ball in but he does have a wicked left foot and the goals keep on coming in for the Foxes star. Mahrez would be on the radar for many top clubs in the world and United could steal a march on them if they make the right deal for the Algerian.
