Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been on the headlines for some time now, however this time around he is not the only one attracting attention. Real Madrid’s current goalkeeper Keylor Navas has turned heads with his form in the field after another excellent display against Seville at the weekend.
The Costa Rican player costs three time lesser than David De Gea yet Florentino Perez’s single minded focus on getting De Gea into the Spanish capital still does not let United take rest. One would believe with Navas in good form in the squad, Perez would not be looking to add another goalkeeper but well we may be wrong to expect normalcy around here.
Perez also wants De Gea’s popularity so as to sell the merchandise, which Navas cannot compare with. Although De Gea’s decision to leave United depends on a certain Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford for the next season.
